Social Grants | Sassa Payment Dates for July 2022
Month-to-month, Sassa disburses social grants to beneficiaries in South Africa. The social grants are form of social assistant by the South African Government for the needy citizens.
Overall Grant Administration
It has been reported that Sassa distributes over 18 million social grants every month. Over 10 million beneficiaries are also expected to get special social assistant known as Social Relief of Distress for COVID-19 (SRD Grant). All these grants are administered by the South African Social Security Agency
SRD Grant
Sassa has recently announced that they have started paying out the SRD grant during the month of June 2022. The current cycle of Social Relief of Distress grant was extended by the President earlier this year from April 2022 to March 2023 Beneficiaries of the grant who have not yet received their payments since April 2022 were promised that they will start receiving their monies in the middle of June 2022.
Sassa Payment Dates for July 2022
The following is a schedule for social grant payment for July 2022, starting from the 4th of July to the 6th of July 2022. The first day of payments will be for the Older Pension grants, followed by the Disability grants, then Child Support Grants and other grants.

Sassa Payment dates for July 2022
Older Age Pension Grant
The Older Persons grant will be paid on 04 July 2022
Disability Grant
The Disability Grant will be paid on 05 July 2022
Child Support Grant and Other Grants
All other grants will be paid on 06 July 2022 including Child Support Grant.
