On their social media platforms, The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA)has cleared some of the burning questions that were frequently asked by the grant beneficiaries. The questions cleared include questions about the SRD website, whether caregivers receives SRD Grant and payment dates for SRD reconsiderations.

Do caregivers still receive SRD R350 Grant?
Yes, Sassa indicated that caregivers who do not have any other form of income flowing into their bank accounts that is more than R350 per month, except for the Sassa grant payment will receive the grant.
April and May SRD Grant Status Still Pending, what is the delay?
The respond from Sassa is that, April verifications and payments resumed on 12 July 2022, May verifications have not yet started, therefore the status remains pending for the month of May.
When will June payments be issued?
The agency indicated that, June payments have been made for beneficiaries that have successfully verified bank accounts.
When are we receiving reconsideration payments?
Some of the reconsideration statuses of the SRD applicants are still pending, what does Sassa say about the payments? It has been indicated that December 2021 to March 2022 verifications will be paid during the month of July 2022.
